Where do you ship to?
At the moment, only the US and Australia. Managing tax requirements as a solo business owner is hard. :( As I grow I hope to be able to sell to more locations!
What currency are the store prices in?
Everything on the store is priced in USD, so be aware if your currency is different the value may change at checkout.
What are your general shipping times?
From the date of your order, expect processing and shipping to be completed within 10-15 business days on average. With the world as it is these days I prefer to offer a pessimistic estimate; it may in fact be faster than this on many occasions. Please get in touch through the Contact page if it's much slower for you so I can be aware if this is a consistent problem.
Can products be exchanged or replaced?
I can't take back products if you changed your mind, but if the product arrives damaged or incorrect please get in touch through the Contact page immediately!
I paid through Paypal but the address on my account is different to where I wanted my order shipped...
Please get in touch through the Contact page right away and let me know what address you need your order to be shipped to. If the order has not been shipped yet it should be possible to correct the address.
What do I do if there is a problem with my order?
Please get in touch through the Contact page and clearly describe your problem. Be aware I may ask for pictures in the case of a damaged or incorrect product so I can clearly communicate what has gone wrong to my supplier.
Your origin story is just marketing... right?
The origin story I shared on the page 'The Choubachi Story' really is 100% true. Yes, I actually started this business because I got mad over a pun mug. I do all the artwork for my products myself and I am often my own first customer for a design. Now that my anger has abated somewhat, this store is an outlet for my creativity.
Of course, I'm not equipped to make things like mugs and shirts at my laptop in my kitchen. So I work with a supplier who can make those things and add my design elements.
When you order from me, I forward that order on to my supplier who will produce the product exactly as I have specified and ship it out directly to you. The item is only made to fulfil your order after you place the order. This is a great system for a relatively inxperienced product designer as there isn't the risk of one of my designs falling so flat I need to throw out a large quantity of products.
I guess technically since I have no stock of my own that makes me a dropshipper, but you're not going to see my products being sold cheaper anywhere else.
Actually I saw something just like your product on [other site]...
Please contact me and let me know where you've seen my designs for sale so I can go after the perpetrator with my frowny face.
Seriously though, most likely someone has stolen the designs and there may not be much I can do about that. It's a compliment that something I made has proved worth stealing and I'm probably going to go have a celebratory cup of tea in one of my mugs after I'm done reading your message. I would appreciate it though if you let everyone around you know where the original designs are from if possible. :)
Have you made your millions yet?
Nope. But I probably won't tell you once I do. :P
